By participating, you agree to the following:

These Official Rules govern the conduct and eligibility of the Designated Driver (DD) drawing winners together with the decisions of the “Prize Posse”.

By participating in this drawing, each participant releases the Prize Posse and each of its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, and each winner agrees to indemnify and hold Prize Posse and each of its respective directors, officers, employees, and agents harmless from any and all losses, damages, costs, expenses, rights, claims and actions of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of the winner’s acceptance or use of the prize.

ELIGIBILITY: A person wearing a Designated Driver non-transferable wristband issued by a participating Ventura or Thousand Oaks venue on a Prize Posse promotion night must be at least 21 years of age, be transporting a group of at least one additional person consuming alcohol, and be completely sober (not have consumed ANY alcohol or other mind altering substances) at the time of winning. Drawing entries may not be purchased. Drawing winners may not be employees or family of employees of the Ventura County Health Care Agency or any of its assigned divisions; Straight Up Ventura County, or Project SAFER, Inc. Prize winners may be required to provide proof of eligibility by means of a breath sample.

CLAIMING THE PRIZE: Winner must be present to win. Each participating venue will provide wristbands to Designated Drivers and collect Drawing entries on location. If DD participants change locations (move to a different business location) they must obtain an additional wristband to be entered into the drawing at the new location.

DRAWINGS: Drawings will occur on specified Prize Posse promotional nights at a select group of Downtown Ventura businesses. All identified Designated Drivers that wear provided DD wristbands and remain sober are eligible to participate. Participants acknowledge and agree that final determination about eligibility and the awarding of prizes shall solely be made by the Prize Posse Crew Leader(s).

This project is collaboration of Project SAFER, Ventura Police Department, Thousand Oaks Police Department, Straight Up Ventura County, and Ventura County Behavioral Health Alcohol & Drug Programs.
