Free Straight Up documentary on underage and binge drinking in Ventura County available now!

Access and Excess, a 17-minute documentary from Straight Up, is now out on DVD and available online. This production takes a realistic look at the current problems of underage and binge drinking in Ventura County and the factors in the local community -- attitudes and norms, access and availability, media messages, and policies -- that accept, allow and encourage these dangerous behaviors. Suggestions to help reduce the problems are targeted to parents, youth and community members.

Technicolor Corporation, located in Camarillo, donated the duplication of 1000 copies of this important DVD, making it free to schools, libraries, parent groups and community organizations throughout the County.

Also available is The Gamble, a powerful 60-second public service announcement created for parents.

Watch online! You will need Quicktime installed in order to view the videos.
