In 2009, Straight Up Program Director Katherine Kasmir and Young Adult Spokesperson Jace Meadows had the opportunity to travel to Oklahoma and train about 35 people to Coordinate and Direct Reality Party events in their neighborhoods. Oklahoma's Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services worked with several agencies in the state to help educate communities about underage and binge drinking by presenting a series of Reality Parties for Parents in November, 2009.
